I have been playing with build 10130 for a couple of hours and just like build 10122 is incredibly stable comparing with other builds. Which one is the best? Don't know how to answer that as both builds are working like a charm for me, however while build 10130 runs as it should on my PC, other users are reporting some instability. As always, I don't recommend you to use as a daily OS, although is good to see that Windows 10 is getting consistent and the UI/UX is getting polished. With Windows 10 RTM coming in June, Microsoft is probably focused to fix issues and finish the interface, so we might not see new exciting features. Keep in mind Windows 10 will never end as constant updates will arrive, and next year we will get a new Windows which code name is already known: Redstone. One of the great things in Windows 10 for the enthusiasts is that almost everything is built in XAML, so it's very easy to Microsoft do great changes in the OS without new and cleans installations.

Where to download build 10130?
Build 10130 was pushed to Fast Ring, so Microsoft won't publish ISO (unless it release some patches and this build is pushed to Slow Ring). Unfortunately, the links to access Microsoft ESD database are temporary and already expired, but just like me and others, we were able to grab those ESD before links go off and ESD and ISO are around the Internet. (the ISO are obtained by a process of conversion of the encrypted ESD files).

Known issues

  • Mail app may crash due to a memory error, and may not synch mail when in the background. We plan to service this issue with an update via Windows Update.
  • In some cases, flyouts from the Taskbar (including Start, Cortana, Network, Battery, and Action Center) fail to fly out. This is a transient issue, and after retrying a few times it will succeed. We are also working to service this issue with an update.
  • Wi-Fi connectivity may fail at times due to a known issue. A system reboot is required to recover from this state.
