The LG Watch Urbane was never going to be cheaper than the G Watch R, and now we've got our first sighting of its retail price to confirm just that.
Online retailer Expansys has put the Watch Urbane up for pre-order in the UK with a price tag of £299.99 (around $460, AU$590).
That's around £100 more than the G Watch R, and you're purely paying for the premium design as under the hood the Urbane offers exactly the same spec line up.
Cheaper than Apple
The price tag reflects the competition LG is pitting the Watch Urbane against, with the imminent Apple Watch expected to carry a slightly higher price tag than the Korean firm's latest effort.
While the Watch Urbane is expensive in the Android Wear stable, it's still likely to undercut Apple and LG will hope it can tempt those who can't afford the Cupertino firm's wearable.
We'll be getting hands on with the LG Watch Urbane at MWC 2015, so look out for our hands on review at the beginning of March.
